COVID-19 Impact Updates

Our response to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.

Michigan's Governor has issued a "Stay Home, Stay Safe" executive order for all businesses that went into effect Tuesday, March 24 – lasting for at least the next three weeks.

While the order directs all Michigan businesses to temporarily suspend in-person operations, FOAM-iT meets the "critical and essential" definition established by the Department of Homeland Security.

We believe our role in serving customers during this difficult time is a critical one. To serve our customers while also helping to ensure the safety of our world, we've temporarily changed our processes to prioritize products that are being used on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19. At the same time, we know that this will result in some of our lead times being longer than usual and we want to thank you for your patience.

Hello,

We want to give you an update on the impact of COVID-19 on FOAM-iT, and what we're doing about it. Our primary goal is to protect the health of our customers, employees, and communities. But we are also doing everything we can to minimize disruption to our operations – and to you.

Like many of you, we are experiencing issues due to the impact of COVID-19 on supply chains, freight services, demand, and more. As a result, our lead times are getting longer for all orders. We know that speed is one of the reasons you choose FOAM-iT, and we will still do everything we can to fulfill urgent needs. Our goal is still to get every order out the door as fast as possible, but given the situtation, that will likely take longer than normal. We are in contact with our supply chain and working to solve supply issues proactively and minimize delays.

We know that many of our customers are using FOAM-iT equipment to help fight the outbreak, or to support critical industries. We feel fortunate to be part of the solution to this global crisis, and we are committed to continuing to support your efforts.

In alignment with recommendations from the WHO and CDC, we are also increasing cleaning & sanitizing at our facility, encouraging remote work and social distancing, restricting business travel, and requiring sick employees to stay home. We are limiting visitors to our facility, and asking customers and vendors to use phone, email, or video calls in place of face to face meetings.

We will continue monitoring and implementing guidance from trusted sources as this outbreak progresses. And we will keep you updated about changes to our operations that may impact you.
